Sim Lim Square
Menlo’s first lab is in Sim Lim Square in Singapore.
About Sim Lim
Sim Lim Square is the oldest electronics tower in Singapore, a nostalgic landmark where generations of computer enthusiasts have sourced parts, from soldering irons, to RAM chips and motherboards.
We’ve chosen Sim Lim because it personifies Menlo’s culture:
- Garage energy
- Maker culture, hands-on
- Creative chaos
- Low-cost rent
Unfortunately, Sim Lim Square has been declining in recent years. We hope to revive it by bringing in garage energy and a new generation of builders.
